Dr. Han Jo KimĀ is an Associate Professor and Director of the Spine Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He is a graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and he completed his residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery and his spine fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.

He took his first trip to Ghana during his residency in 2008, and returned 5 more times between 2008 and 2013. He was the first Swanson Fellow to travel to Ghana, and over the years, he has collectively spent close to 5 months working for FOCOS in Ghana between electives and mission trips.
